Familiar

I found a small stack of negatives, wrapped in old rubber bands, on the floor as I helped my parents move from their home of 40 years. They were from 1956, more or less, of a fresh family of 5. My younger sister was newborn to one year old, I was 3, my older sister 5. My father was doing graduate studies in Kentucky and life was good.
I cleaned these up and printed them, and showed them to my parents as memory prods. These I have combined together with present day photographs of us and them adjusting to new living conditions, and the struggle with memory loss for my mother.
